Insulating Hearths
Insulating Hearths are required for a very small portion of Logfires on todays market. Some Top End Woodsman's and Firenzo's require an Insulating Hearth. Insulating Hearths have minimum requirements for Insulating materials to be used in there construction. This means the hearths are thicker, heavier and generally larger than an Ash hearth. They are also more expensive. If you are unsure if you NEED an insulating hearth, call or email us and we will steer you right. Cone Cowl
Tropicair Brand "Cone Cowl'. Standard with all Inbuilt flue systems we supply. This cowl is an upgrade to the standard 'Flat Cowl'. It offers a solution in cases where draw tends to be an issue and can sometimes we a workable alternative to extending a flue system. Cone Cowls have mostly all the same properties as a 'Wind Directional Cowl' with none of the draw backs such as wear and the need for regular greasing. Standard fit for a 150mm flue system but can be made to order in 125mm or 175mm versions.

Diesel Tank 480 Litre
Tropicair Brand Diesel Tanks hold a total capacity of 480 litres. Made in our Christchurch factory to high standards and are compliant for use in diesel heating or just rural fuel storage. Tank is finished in Karaka Powdercoat. Colour will be Karaka Green if not otherwise specified by customer. A standard diesel tank comes with 700mm high legs. (Pictured legs are not standard height) Finished Dimensions: 1640mm High (1720mm including filler neck) 540mm Wide 1225 Long (1330mm including outlet neck) Bunds are available for order and purchase if required by Local Council. Available in Galvanized finish or powdercoated, Charges Apply. Extended Legs are also available for order and purchase.
